Jay Carpenter

Jay Carpenter was raised in the Davis Mountain area of West Texas and learned to fly at age 5 in his Dad’s Cessna 180.

He presently owns a Grumman Tiger and is instrument rated with 900 hours as Pilot in Command.

Jay was appointed to the TXAA Board of Directors in 2000 and has served as President since November 2004.
