Ken Koock
Ken was born in Austin,
Texas on May 5, 1936. He
attended St. Ignatius
Elementary School and
graduated from St.
Edward’s High School. He
attended Georgetown
University in D.C. while
working for Senators
Ralph Yarborough and
Lyndon B. Johnson. Ken
graduated from
University of Texas with
A&S Degree, Economics &
English.
Ken bought Green
Pastures Restaurant in
1965 and started Tres
Amigos Restaurants in
1977. He was President
of the Rotary Club of
Austin, Austin
Restaurant Association
and the First President
of Texas Aviation
Association. Ken has
also been on the Board
of Directors for Texas
Restaurant Association,
Austin Chamber of
Commerce, Southwest
Regional Fly-in and
Texas Aviation
Association. |

Ken is married to Carol Koock
and they have four children and
eight grandchildren. His hobbies
are flying, golf, sailing,
singing, and cooking.
