The Senate
Commerce is scheduled to consider
legislation (S. 1300) which would create
a new and onerous user fee on business
aviation.
Please think about how user fees will
affect our companies, airports,
communities and pilot/aircraft owners.
This bill still allows user fees to be
established, an increase in fuel tax and
the establishment of an airline
controlled oversight board eliminating
Congress from oversight of our air
traffic system and aviation trust fund.
We are asking all interested parties in
the state to call Senator Hutchison's
office at 202-224-5922 and register your
opposition to the user fee contained in
S. 1300.
